Ariel Espinoza-Jara is a Double PhD candidate in Mechanical Engineering at Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile and in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, expecting to graduate in August 2024. His research specializes in erosion wear caused by turbulent particle-laden flow, combining CFD modeling with Ultrasound Particle Image Velocimetry. He has around eight years of engineering experience in mining projects.
